Baby Shower

I am so blessed with wonderful friends who gave me such an amazing shower on Sunday.

Thank you to all of you who came and helped shower Scarlett with love! The lunch and dessert were unbelievably delicious, I'm a little sad that I couldn't have any of the champagne to celebrate, but I heard it was yummy!

I got so many cute little girlie things, can't wait to put them to use!!!

It's Official This Time....

We're in escrow on this house! We are really excited about it! It is in a great location and has so much potential. We close at the end of this month and then we are going to have as much work done as possible before we move in at the end of December. Is it too much to expect the entire house to be completely gutted and remodeled inside and out in 30 days??? After all, usually they can get everything done in 3 days on Extreme Home Makeover... :) Stay tuned for lots of before and after posts! Our lives are going to be a little crazy these next few months, (getting ready for Scarlett, Jaxon's birthday, remodeling, the holidays, moving, and finally Scarlett's arrival) but it will all be worth it in the end.

We hope everyone had a very Happy Halloween! Jaxon was a dinosaur, it was fun that he got to pick his costume this year. There was no question about it, he has been saying for a good three months now that he wanted to be a dinosaur!

I forgot to take any pictures of the decorated houses, but they are all very fun and halloweeny!

Our last stop of the night was trick or treating at our own house. Jason got sick yesterday and unfortunately couldn't go with us this year. Hopefully it will be over soon, and Jaxon and I will be able to avoid getting sick...

Fall

Yay! Fall is finally here... well most days at least! It's time to make more Starbucks runs for my Chai Latte's. Let's be honest, that's kind of a year-round treat for me, but they're especially nice in the cooler weather. We are all looking forward to Halloween this year and this is the first year that Jaxon picked a costume for himself, and can't wait to wear it. I just can't wait for all the candy! Pumpkin carving was fun, but we did it way too early because in this weather they were totally moldy after 3 days. Not so fun to dispose of.

CA Adventures and Disneyland. I think it got up to 95 on Monday when we were there, so it felt more like summer, but it was still lots of fun.

Jaxon's first Halloween, wow time flies! I remember this like it was just yesterday. Hopefully those memories will never fade, especially because I have the worst memory ever!

We all had such a wonderful time with my parents here.  They are such great parents and super great grandparents as well!  We are so lucky to have them in our lives, if only we lived closer!

More fun times, can't wait for our next visit!  Now with all our guests gone we are busy getting ready for Scarlett!  We are planning on turning our guest room/office into her room.  It has been fun going through all Jaxon's old baby clothes and gear to see what we can use again and what we will need to get.  In some ways this pregnancy has gone fast because of so many distractions, but at the same time I am really anxious for her arrival and can't wait to not be pregnant!  

OC Walk to Remember

This year my parents were here to do the OC Walk to Remember with us.  It is a nice way for us to remember our Xavier and to help raise money for local hospitals and support groups.

Friends and Family Month

October is definitely friends and family month at the Guyser house.  First, Jason's dad and little sister came for a visit, then my sister, Brian and Dexter were here for a week and now my parents are here until the 15th.  It is so fun and we love to get to spend time with everyone.

At Charlie's Chili, YUM!!!  I think I told Jason, "We should really come here more often!" about 50 times during breakfast.

Jaxon discovered he loved powdered sugar just as much as he loved his french toast!

We picked up Terese, Brian and Dexter and headed straight to the Long Beach Aquarium.  

For some reason I have no pictures of our fun trip to Disneyland, it is all decorated for Halloween and it was Dexter's first time there and we had a blast.  The next day we spent time on the beach and at the Fun Zone.

Legoland was decorated for Halloween too.  It was so fun for Dexter especially because it was his first time and he is super into legos.

There was a lot of naps in the car during their visit, we were all very tired from so many activities during the week so we just relaxed here at the beach for the weekend.
