We had a very hectic month of February working on the house, packing, and moving out of our beach place. Luckily, my parents came down to help at the end of the month. I barely survived, but massive amounts of coffee and chocolate helped. The kids and I have been in Friday Harbor for a few weeks with my parents while the house is getting finished... or close to move in ready. Right now the drywall is getting finished and they will start painting this week. We are all missing Jason lots and are excited to get home to see him. Jaxon is having a wonderful time running around and visiting his Washington friends and family. Scarlett is perfect as ever and it is so nice to be able to relax for a bit and give her more attention. She is changing quickly and is now 2 and a half months old. She is smiling lots and starting to coo when you talk to her. She likes to look at baby toys and is just starting to bat at them. (These pictures are all out of order bc it's late and I can't figure out how to edit on my dad's computer!)
Ahhhhh! Love it...how nice to see a post from you! Miss Scarlett is getting so big now, how sweet. Fun for you to see friends and family in FH. That is always needed, and the house! The yard...oh my gosh! What a transformation. I can't wait til you move in. Thank goodness for parents who help - LOVE that!

ReplyDeleteWow love all the pic's!! That Scarlet is so Beautiful and I'm glad to hear you got some fun mommy time with her. Sometimes it's hard to share yourself with 2 but it all works out. I know Ava wants to be held sometime when I'm nursing Zoe and I can't really hold her. I try to make up for it when Zoe is sleeping tho. I'm glad you got to go to FH and spend time with the fam. Your family is so awesome in helping you with the house in Cali. The house is really coming along and the backyard is really big for Jaxon. Can't wait to see more pics.

I drove by the house today and peeked in (J wasn't home). Everything is coming along great. looks like all you need is a floor and the kitchen to be put together and it will be FABULOUS!! I am so excited. The painted walls look great and the open family/kitchen room is so awesome. Nice work! Looking forward to the 14th!!
